on August 25, 2006

I’m so ready for Fall!! So, I thought I’d do a little redecorating on my blog before the baby comes. I’m looking forward to some cooler weather here!!

My next doctor’s appointment is set for September 7th at 3 p.m.

I’m so glad it’s Friday! Tonight we’re going out to eat at a new restaraunt in town…hopefully it will be good! Today, I’m going to continue working on Colt’s 1st 10 weeks of school lesson plans…probably will work on them all weekend as well. I want to get these knocked out so I can start working on Riley’s curriculum. Last night I ordered Colt’s science curriculum from off of eBay. I got the whole set on CD, I think Colt will really enjoy it! I still need to order his Grammar and Arithmetic, I’ll order from Keepers of the Faith if I can’t find them cheaper somewhere else. I want to get the best prices that I can since our budget is really tight right now.

Here’s a link to a website that has all kinds of great ideas for combining scrapbooking & homeschooling http://scrapbookingtolearn.com/. There’s some great instructions for making lapbooks (Scrap folders), using scrapbooking to learn, time line books, notebooking & Charlotte Mason. I know I’m going to use the lapbook idea for some my Texas History stuff and also the Time Line book idea.

Well, it’s time for me to start lunch, so I’d better go for now

Hugs & Blessings!
